Lucic tallied a goal and an assist in the third period in Calgary's road trip to face off with the San Jose Sharks on Dec. 20, 2022. The first multi-point game of the season for Lucic helped the Flames to a 7-3 road victory.

One such high came on January 30, 2002, when the Calgary center registered his second career hat trick (both in a Flames jersey) to beat the league's top-rated Red Wings, 4-3.
