Ed Van Impe
Five solid years with the AHL Buffalo Bisons finally earned Ed Van Impe a shot with the NHL Chicago Black Hawks. He impressed Philadelphia brass enough to grab him in the expansion draft. He's a real hard hitter and likes the going rough.

Tied for NHL lead in assists last season. Won Hart Trophy as NHL most valuable player for second time. Named captain of the Flyers in 1973.

Bobby was voted the Art Ross Trophy as the League's most valuable player two seasons ago. He has firmly established himself as the cornerstone of the Flyers. He serves as the team's captain and does just about everything well. He's a tireless skater, a top scorer, a fine checker and a power play artist. In short, Bobby is "Mr. Flyer".

A rangy center-right wing, Gary Dornhoefer hit for 13 goals with the Flyers last season, after three trials with the Boston Bruins. He had 22 points in 32 games in first Bruin test, and seemed headed for stardom then.

Bill Barber
In two seasons Bill proved that he is headed for stardom in the NHL. He just missed Rookie-of-the-Year honors, finishing second in 1972-73. Bill has what the scouts call "hockey sense". The puck often seems to follow him around. He's a good skater and a very accurate shot. Nine of his goals last year came while the Flyers had a man advantage.
