Blessed with a powerful shot and a deceptive skating style, Andy could be one of the leading forwards in the game. He captained Guelph, Ont., to the junior title of Canada in '52. Then, after he failed to make good in the N.H.L., he developed fast with Vancouver and Cleveland, helping the latter club win the Payoff Title in the American Hockey League last year and was recalled.

Born Oakville, Ont., Oct. 4, 1940. 6', 174. Shoots left. Scrappy winger split season between N.Y. and Baltimore, finishing with impressive flourish. Rangers got him in draft from Chicago. He's golf pro in off-season.
