Name that player!

Acquired from Chicago in June, 1962, Doug missed rookie honors by two-tenths of a point. Has 19 goals in three NHL seasons, mostly off the point.

3/1/97 - Osgood smothers 21 shots on goal while blanking the Rangers 3-0 to post his career-best sixth shutout of the season.

Al ("Don't call me Junior") broke into NHL with the Canadiens, was traded to the Rangers in June of '61, and then, in mid-season of 1963-64, to the Red Wings. A good skater for a big man, Al teamed up in Montreal and New York with Doug Harvey. Sparked Wings into playoffs.
