Alex Tuch
A native of Syracuse, N.Y., who grew up rooting for the Sabres, Tuch was the most established player Buffalo received when it dealt former captain Jack Eichel to Vegas on Nov. 4, 2021, along with former first-round pick Peyton Krebs. In his first game with Buffalo, Tuch set up a second-period goal in a battle with the visiting New Jersey Devils.

Roger the Dodger" is one of the smallest goalies in the NHL, but he's had an outstanding career. A Bracebridge, Ontario former rookie-of-the-year in both the AHL and NHL, Roger also was voted the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP during the 1966 Stanley Cup Playoffs.



Over the last two regular seasons, no goalie has been as stingy in the iron cage as Buffalo's Dominik Hasek "The Dominator" plays an unorthodox, flopping style that's all his own. "When he's in the net, his pads seem to cover post to post better than any goalie I've seen." - Brett Hull

Dominik Hasek
Most NHL observers simply ran out of adjectives to describe Buffalo's Dominik Hasek this past season as the All-Star netminder become the first player in league history to simultaneously win both the Hart and Vezina Trophies in successive compaigns. "The Dominator" was in rare form on March 15 against Pittsburgh when he notched his 30th career shutout en route to amassing a the league's best total for 1997-98.
