Tom is an original member of the Patriots' devastating linebackers, having joined the club in 1960. A great competitor, Tom never relaxes as he goes after the enemy blockers. The big linebacker was named on the A.F.L.'s first All-League team and has since appeared there regularly. Tom captained his high school club and was All-Atlantic Coast Conference in college.
Don completed his first year with the Patriots in '63 with a flourish. The big ballplayer from Virginia Tech was a menace to the opposition all year long with his powerful tackles. Given the left tackle job with Boston, he pleased Coach Mike Holovak and the fans with his effective play. Don was highly recommended to the Patriots by Boston linebacker Jesse Richardson, a former teammate.
Sure hands, sure routes, sure thing. That's an honest day's work for Hogan in the precision Patriots offense, catching passes that help produce W's. "Winning football games is why we're in this business, the seventh-year veteran said in 2018. "For me, it really just comes down to doing my job."
