Titans Card of the Day

Jeffery Simmons
While Simmons has long served as the anchor of the Tennessee defense, he definitely doesn't hold that unit down. Sinking offensive lines with his powerful style of play, the All-Pro tackle elevates his squad with run-stuffing force and quarterback-hunting sacks.

Name that player!

Tennessee wanted momentum heading into the 2021 playoffs and decided to play its starters in a Week 18 matchup against Houston. Tannehill looked sharp, dicing up the defense and doing so efficiently. He completed 71.8 percent of his passes, fired four touchdowns and led the Titans to a 28-25 win.

Does this look like a career destined for the Hall of Fame? In 1995, Eddie won the Heisman Trophy in his senior year at Ohio State. In '96, he was named the NFL Rookie of the Year. In '97-98, he earned back-to-back Pro Bowl bids. Nothing seems to slow George down. Included among last year's superlatives was a streak of five straight 100-yard games. George is one of six backs to top 4,000 yards rushing in his first three seasons.

Facing off against another of the top receivers from the 2022 draft, Burks delivered his best performance of the season. In a Week 11 matchup with the Packers, he hauled in seven catches for 111 yards, compared to four receptions for 48 yards by Green Bay's Christian Watson. More importantly, the Titans earned a 27-17 win.

Back to the Front! Titans card back du jour...

Rob Bironas
An All-Pro in 2007, Bironas was back at it again last season, connecting on 29-of-33 field goals. That number is all the more impressive considering he was 16-of-20 from 40-plus yards.
