While "Tex" Coulter was at West Point, he was rated as one of the game's all-time greatest tackles. It was as such that he made nearly every All-America in 1945. In his third pro year (1948) with the Giants, he was switched to center. He proved as capable there as at his former position. A highly respected offensive threat.

After a disasterous 2-10-2 record, the Giants, with 20 new men on their roster, bounced back to a respectable 7 and 7 in '65. They were in the race for a second place, and a spot in the Playoff Bowl, until the last day of the season.

Eddie set a new leaque record for number of carries, 271. He was also the leading ground gainer for the year. In four games he gained more than 100 yards and against Philadelphia he carried 30 times for 171 yards. A former All-American from Tulane, and one of the game's great backs. Is in third year with Giants.

Kerry Collins
Kerry has found a home in New York. After signing as a free agent, he waited in the wings through most of the season's first half in 1999. When finally given the full-time starting job, he led the Giants to two victories in his first three starts. Collins was lethal late in games, throwing for more than half his yardage in the fourth quarter.
