Charlie was the first placekicker to be a No. 1 draft pick in NFL history. He was the 'Skins choice in '65, and their leading scorer in '66. He was 3rd in the NFL with 105 points. Charlie kicked 39 XPS and 22 FGs in 34 attempts.

Seventh season. Switched from end to linebacker last season and did outstanding job. Unanimous All-Southeastern Conference end at University of Georgia in 1946, and named on many All- Americas. Played in Sugar, Rose and Oil Bowls. Member of Chicago All-Star squad in 1947. Born in Glen Lyon, Pa. Served in Army three years. Married former Univ. of Georgia cheerleader.



At college Eddie won more honors than any other grid star in history! He continues to use his accurate passing and amazingly deceptive ball handling ability to baffle Washington's rivals.
