49ers Card of the Day

Leo Nomellini
Leo made the All Pro Team last year for the fourth time. He's one of the most ferocious blockers and tacklers in the game today. On the offensive he can blast gaping holes in the defense line and clear the way for 49er backs to march through. As a defensive operator, his bull-like rushes spell trouble for ball-carriers.

The biggest man in the game today, Bob isn't bashful about throwing his weight around. He can blast through opposing defenses and cut a path for the 49'er runners. Bob is the S.F. co-captain.

Roland was the 49ers' 2nd draft choice in '61. He played defensive end that year, moving to offensive tackle in '62 and to 1st string right tackle in '63.

Dispelling rumors of retirement, "Cowboy" returns to hunt down a fifth consecutive Pro Bowl appearance.

Back to the Front! 49ers card back du jour...

Jimmy Garoppolo
If anyone wants to see why the 49ers made Garoppolo their franchise quarterback, turn on tape of San Francisco's 30-27 victory over Detroit in Week 2 of 2018. While orchestrating the offense like a well-oiled machine, the signal-caller completed 69.2 percent of his passes for 206 yards and two scores.
