Cardinals Card of the Day

Budda Baker
Stats aren't everything. Although Baker has plenty of numbers to his name as an All-Pro, he agrees. "I know I'm doing my job. My peers around me know. My coaches and my teammates know, and that's the biggest thing for me," he said. "As long as you turn on that film and you see me doing the right thing, that's all I care about."

Name that player!

Don Paul has been used chiefly as defensive halfback since joining the Cardinals in 1950. He stood 19th in punt returns for 1951, returning 19 for a total of 143 yards and intercepted three forward passes for an average return of 17.3 yards.

When experts get together to select the tops of the pros, Chuck's name is always mentioned. He's a devastating tackler and clears away enemy interference reminding one of a threshing machine.

Bobby has done just about everything for the Cards. He was their kicker for his first three years and has played at HB, DB and now a flanker. He owns the Cards' season receiving record with 73. He caught 34 for 388 yards.
