Cardinals Card of the Day

Kyler Murray
Murray's growth continued in 2021, and as the young quarterback sprouted, so too did the Cardinals. In his third season at the helm of the offense, he reached the postseason for the first time as an 11.win NFC Wild Card squad. The experience will only make the young star want more in the seasons ahead.

Name that player!

Len joined Chicago in '54 via a trade with the Rams. It was a happy swap for the Cards because Len is now one of the most effective offensive tackles in the league. Those gaping holes in the line are no accident. More than likely, Len's wedging the forward wall open with powerful blocks to give Card backs a wide avenue for ground gaining. In the off-season he sells Insurance and his opponents could use some when they tangle with Big Len.

Coming back at full strength, Don shook-off injuries and returned to top form last season. He is a hard-charging pass rusher and was largely responsible for the Cardinals league leading pass defense in 1966. A highlight of Don's career came in '63 when he scooped up a fumble and scored his only pro TD.

Irv became a Card after winning All-America honors as center at Kentucky. A great pass blocker, he is also tough on a running game. Outstanding '62 rookie.

Back to the Front! Cardinals card back du jour...

Kurt Warner
Kurt considered retirement after the 2006 season, but returned in '07 to finish ninth in the NFL in passing yards/game (244.1). "Lo and behold," he said, "I haven't forgotten how to play."
