Name that player!

Most grid critics agree that the "Flying Dutchman" is the greatest long passer in football history. Won NFL passing title in 1950 and 1952 and placed 2nd in 1951 and 1953. All-America quarterback at University of Oregon before joining Rams in 1949. Norm's wife, Gloria, was his biology teacher at Oregon. They have three young daughters.

Intercepted 12 passes in NFL rookie year (1950) to tie for second place in that department. Attended Los Angeles City College in 1946 and 1947, then transferred to Oregon. Played halfback. Had great year in 1949. Intercepted 8 passes, returned them 127 yards. Returned 3 kickoffs for touchdowns. Led Oregon in rushing. Has all that it takes to make a top-notch defensive halfback.

Few players have produced a better five-year stretch than what Dickerson accomplished during his run with the Rams from 1983-87. The goggle-wearing running back galloped to three rushing titles and four First Team All-Pro selections, averaging 111.5 yards in his 65 games with Los Angeles.

Back to the Front! Rams card back du jour...

Jalen Ramsey
The Cowboys' Amari Cooper deserved a standing ovation after managing 57 yards against Ramsey in week 1 of 2020. He was the only receiver to crack 50 yards against the eraser of a Rams cover man on the entire season. Never mind shutdown defensive back - Ramsey practically serves as a shutout cornerback.
