Washington led Dallas secondary in tackles and tied for team lead in interceptions. Solid run stopper who's equally adept at both safety positions.



The Cowboys chose Doyle this year with an eye to strengthening their defense. At Washington, he was an offense star as well as ace defender. Last year Doyle flagged down one enemy pass and went 19 yards.



Dallas won the Eastern Title, but lost the NFL Crown 34 to 27. They racked up the most points, 445, with 29 TDs rushing, 56 TDs in all, 56 XPS and 1 safety. They also kicked 17 FGs in 31 tries. They gained 3331 yards passing, too.
