Name that player!

Dick was acquired by the Colts in 1955 when he was selected as their second draft choice. The veteran spent several seasons as a linebacker before returning as a center in 1960.

"The Horse" was the Colts first draft choice! Everybody's All-America fullback and winner of the Heismann Trophy as the nation's outstanding football player, the personable Ameche is a sureshot to win stardom in the pro ranks. With Zollie Toth he gives the Colts what many say is the best one-two punch at fullback in pro football. A great competitor and a real team man, Ameche should have a great year in his rookie campaign.

A series of injuries slowed Taliaferro down in the early stages of 1954 but he came on fast late in the season. Has completely recovered now and is set to regain his slot as the Colts best back, which he held in 1954. A great runner, an above average passer, a fine receiver, and a dependable punter, Taliaferro is considered by many to be the best all-around back in the game.
