Jim spent time in 1984 sidelined by injury but hopes to be back in top form this season. He recorded three 200-yard passing games in 1983. Threw NFC's longest pass of the year, an 87-yarder íor a touchdown to Willie Gault. Jim was selected as UPI'S NFC Rookie of the Year in 1982. He was an All-American at BYU.
Started pro football career with the Yanks, 1946. Traded to Chicago Rockets-Hornets, 1947. With Hornets, 1948; Bears, 1949-50. Played left and right half for Princeton. All-Eastern. Outstanding runner and passer. Skilled at pass receiving. Considered one of the game's best defensive backs. Bob sells radios during the off-season.
Freshman Bill proved to be one of the top Bruins' last year with his fine running and expert pass grabbing. He scampered once for a 67-yd. score and hauled down an aerial for a 56-yd. TD. He averaged over 13 yards per catch last year.
