Falcons Card of the Day

Ruke Orhorhoro
Orhorhoro's journey to the NFL included living in three different countries by age 9 and primarily being a basketball player until his junior year of high school. "It's so crazy to me that just me making the decision to maybe just give this sport a try, it could get me here," he told the New York Post.

Name that player!

Jim blossomed into a fine offensive lineman in 1967 after gaining a starting assignment from the injury riddled Falcons. Jim now holds down a regular guard position on the strength of his aggressive, hard-hitting play. Extremely versatile, Jim can also handle a tackle or defensive end slot.

Reed produced one of the longest possible plays during Week 12 of 2008. The ball hawk picked off a Philadelphia pass from deep in the end zone, then sprinted for a 107.yard touchdown return. It was just barely the longest pick-six of his career, besting the 106-yard return he had in 2004.

Cousins landed in Atlanta in 2024 during what amounts to a sweet spot in any pro athlete's career: He's experienced enough to be a true leader, but still is athletic enough to post big numbers. Add in the Falcons' core of talented and exciting young skill players and expectations are high for the Dirty Birds.
