The earth tremors that are reported every Sunday can be attributed to Mike's tackling. He is an advocate of the "hit 'em hard, then hit 'em harder" school of football.



Overcame a childhood leg ailment to become one of the game's greatest ends. Starred in football and hurdies at the University of Utah. In 4 pro years for the Cleveland Browns, became lifetime AAFC leader in pass receiving with 211 caught for 3,551 yards and 24 touchdowns. Entered Army, March, 1942. Came out, 1st lieutenant, June, 1946.



Besides being one of the best scat backs in professional football, Ernie is also a fine receiver. He paced the Browns with 39 receptions in '67.
