Name that player!

Say what you wanna say about Mack - usually he's not listening. "Whatever you think, whatever y'all think... however, y'all think I'm playing, that's what it is," he said in the midst of a striking 17-sack season in 2023. "I don't necessarily pay attention to that, mostly just trying to get a win."

Keith, one of pro football's most versatile players, can handle any of a number of jobs for the Chargers. A hard running fullback, Keith can be used effectively as a halfback, end, defensive back and even a quarterback if the situation comes up. With good hands and good speed, he led the Chargers and finished third in the A.F.L. in kickoff returns last year. An injury hampered Keith in 1963.

Six NFL seasons more than proved Hurst's resilience, toughness and value to a team. The Chargers saw it first-hand when the tight end joined them in 2024 as a veteran addition capable of providing downfield catching ability and point-of-attack blocking, as his track record for four previous teams showed.

Back to the Front! Chargers card back du jour...

Gus Edwards
Boosting the running game is always a good idea. Edwards gave the Chargers a leg up on the plan in 2024, joining the AFC West squad to inject toughness, speed and paydirt know-how into the offense. The sixth-year pro was coming off a career year with new highs in carries, yards and touchdowns.
