Drafted by the Grizzlies with the 18th pick in the 1995 NBA Expansion Draft. Finished 12th NBA season with the Pacers and averaged 10.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 19.1 minutes per game.
Taking a big step in his third season in 2019-20, Brooks established himself as a full-time starter and ranked third on the Grizzlies with 16.2 points per game. Building on that momentum in 2020-21, the wingman started all 67 of his contests and placed second on the team with 17.2 points per game.
One-and-done at Kansas, Selby took his impressive hops, lightning-fast first step and deep shooting range to the pros as a second-round pick of Memphis in 2011. In his second career game on Dec. 30, he came off the bench for nine points and a team-high seven assists to help ground the Rockets, 113-93.
