Now a star who averaged 22.0 points in San Antonio in 2022-23, Johnson is thankful for his time with the Austin Spurs. "I think definitely 100 percent the G League turned my career around," he said. "I feel like coming in I was around 19 years old and it helped me develop. It helped me become a professional."

Nowadays he prefers a bit more of a chill approach, doing whatever his teammates need while still flashing his classic game-changing ways.
