The best all-around player in the history of Eastern Michigan, George set school single-season records with 339 field goals, 208 free throws and 458 rebounds in 1971-72. His biggest basket came on a driving layup at the buzzer to defeat Duquesne at Pittsburgh, 70-69. George scored 40 points or more 5 times in his collegiate career, his game highs were 21 FG's and 17 FT's.
The third overall pick of the 1989 draft started off slowly but came on at the end of his rookie season. Sean played in all but one game in 1989-90 and was the Spurs' fifth-best scorer and top shooter from the free-throw line. In 1989, Elliott captured the Wooden Award as college basketball's player-of-the-year. Sean also broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's PAC-10 scoring record. Ironically, he broke the mark in a game against UCLA, Jabbar's school.
Rodman's roster of rebounding superlatives included a 4th-straight NBA title; an NBA-high of 30 in a game (2/21); two NBA-high games of 14 offensive boards, and a Spurs record 15 in a quarter (2/26).
