Name that player!

McDaniels filled up the box score against Atlanta. The rising star also made sure that a win complemented his impressive stats. With 25 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks, the two-way wing helped Minnesota secure a 125-124 victory at home.

Selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1989 Expansion Draft ... Saw extensive time at point guard in the NBA Finals against Detroit ... Made a number of post-season all-America teams as a junior and senior at Notre Dame... Finished college career as Irish's all-time leader in assists and steals... Recovered from a near-fatal auto accident prior to junior season and played in all 32 games.

Over the past 25 seasons, there have been three players who have started their careers by averaging at least 10 rebounds in each of their first six seasons. Wendell Moore, Jr.
Bringing defensive intensity is a surefire way to earn more burn. As a rookie in 2022-23, Moore averaged 1.9 steals per 36 minutes, an indication he could develop into a stellar stopper as a sophomore. Facing a tough challenge in his first career start, he helped hold Ja Morant to 40.0 percent shooting in a win vs. Memphis on Nov. 30.
