Selected 4th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft. Set a North Carolina record in 1994-1995 with 93 blocked shots for the season. Scored 33 points in head-to-head matchup against Joe Smith during 1995 ACC Semifinal game against Maryland.



Notched three of the 24 triple-doubles recorded in the NBA last season...Was one of only two players in the league to have accomplished the feat three times during the 1994-95 campaign, joining Jason Kidd...Notched his fourth career triple-double with 17 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Orlando 4/19/95...Missed 19 games (12/23/94-2/1/95) because of a dislocated left shoulder...1993-94 NBA Rookie of the Year...Became only the third Rookie of the Year winner in NBA history to be traded the following season when he was dealt to Washington 11/17/94.



Described by many as the most exciting player in basketball, Earl has had three straight sensational years with the Bullets and was a prime force in driving the club to the playoffs the past two seasons. A runaway choice as the NBA's Rookie of the Year for 1967-68, Earl was the nation's all-time single season scoring champion with 1,329 points in his senior year at Winston-Salem.

Fred Carter
After a slow start when used as the club's fourth guard, Fred became the spark that ignited the Bullets through the last month of the 1969-70 season and through 1970-71. Fred originally impressed Coach Gene Shue with his scoring ability through training camp and exhibition games in his rookie season, but defense has become the most outstanding part of his game.
