Warriors Card of the Day

Kevin Durant
With a 129-120 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 12, 2017, the Warriors ended a long drought in the Bay Area. Fueled by Durant's Finals MVP effort (35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.6 blocks), Golden State became the first pro team to clinch a title at home since the 1974 Oakland A's.

Name that player!

The Warriors' leading scorer in 1973-74, Rick had the NBA's top point production of any game last season with a magnificent 64-point output against Portland last March 26th, including 30 field goals.

A teenage rookie, Moody showed great poise and presence on a veteran-laden Golden State squad in 2021-22. The guard turned 20 two days before the NBA Finals started, and he received a beautiful belated birthday present on June 16 when the Warriors beat the Celtics in Game 6 to win the championship.

Curry entered the 2015-16 season on a mission. He led the NBA in 3-pointers for the fourth consecutive season, breaking his own record with 402 treys. He also increased his scoring average from 23.8 to a league-best 30.1, which is the highest scoring increase for a back-to-back MVP award winner in league history.

Klay Thompson
Known for his 3-point shooting, Thompson also impresses with his dependability. The shooting guard paced the NBA with 391 games played in the regular season and postseason combined from 2014-15 to 2017-18. The three-time champion ranks third on the list for minutes played (13,276) during that span.
