Born and raised in the Chicago area, Dosunmu stayed in state for college and became a standout at Illinois. The guard got to continue his run as the hometown hero when the Bulls selected him in the second round of the 2021 draft. Those circumstances made him a fan favorite before he even stepped on the NBA floor.



A rookie who showed great improvement as the 1989-90 season progressed Stacey helped the Bulls once again go deep into the playoffs. Stacey played in all 82 regular-season games. The 1989 Big Eight player-of-the-year led Oklahoma to the NCAA championship game, led the NCAA tournament in scoring and was a first-team all-America selection.
