Suns Card of the Day

Oliver Miller
A typical NBA season lasts approximately 170 days and concentrating on basketball over such an extended period of time can be draining. Each player has their own form of escape to help them. This particular time, golf happens to be the avenue that Phoenix Suns center Oliver Miller takos. Relaxing before a game, Miller tries to perfect his golf game by practicing his swing in the locker room, while at the same time taking his mind off the physical game that lies ahead.

Name that player!

"Sir Charles" brings a certain degree of pride onto the floor every night. He is such a driven competitor that, even when playing hurt, he can be the difference for the Suns merely as a result of his presence on the hardwood.

To take advantage of his uncanny passing ability, Alvan has become the trigger-man in the Suns' High-post offense. He led all NBA centers in assists with a 5.6 per game average in 1975-76 and he established a new club record for blocked shots in a season with 116. Alvan is a fine rebounder.

A 1st round draft choice of Bulls in 1967, Clem averaged only 8.9 as a rookie but then enjoyed seasons of 17.2 and 20.3 in succession. An outstanding free throw shooter, he had .853 percentage in 1971-72.

Devin Booker
Booker's big reaction to learning he had just become an All-Star for the first time in 2019-20: he took a nap. "I went back to sleep and when I woke up, all my family was over [the house] and we celebrated," he told the Arizona Republic. "We're taking it all in and we're enjoying the experience. ... It's always been a dream of mine."
