Scored WNBA career-high 23 points vs. New York Liberty, July 12, 1998. Ranked 19th in WNBA in rebounding in 1997 (4.8 rpg). Mercer University's all-time scoring leader with 2,796 points. Congreaves, whose parents are from Guyana and who grew up just south of Landon didn't start playing basketball until age 15 and was dunking the ball at age 16. Sheeran track, threw the javelin and participated in the high jump in high school. Her father Oscar was a track official.



Taj ranked fourth in the WNBA in field goal percentage in 2000 and sixth in rebounds per game. She also finished 10th in steals and minutes per game and 12th in blocks per game.
