During her college days at Florida International University, Andrea helped power the school to its First two NCAA tournament appearances in 1993 and '94.



A 38-year-old rookie in '99, Valerie was a spot-starter and averaged two rebounds per game. She also had her own advice column on the Mystics.



It's appropriate that Bowie went to Ball State. because she was one of the nation's premier basketballers in her career. The Mid-America Conference Player of the Year in 2001 and 2003 was the third player (male or female) to surpass 2000 career points.
