The quintessential center, Brown dominates the paint, finishing her career at Baylor ranked first in field goal percentage and third in blocks. In need of a towering presence who could protect the rim and score efficiently, the Sparks grabbed the statuesque (6-foot-7) Brown in the first round of the draft.

The pride of Southern California, Leslie set scoring records at Inglewood's Morningside HS before banking in the buckets at nearby USC and then joining the WNBA's Sparks. In 12 seasons with the hometown franchise, the L.A. legend tallied 17.3 points and made eight All-Star appearances.
