Sky Card of the Day

Courtney Vandersloot
A wizard with the rock, Vandersloot sets the table for Chicago's offense, spoon-feeding her teammates at the rim and bringing crowds to their feet with her taste for flair. In 2020, the flashy floor general earned All-WNBA First Team honors and became the first player in league history to average double-digit helpers (10.0).

Name that player!

Nobody in the WNBA can dish the rock like Vandersloot. In 2019, the floor general dished 300 assists, becoming the first player in league history to hit the mark in a season. She also set the league mark (9.1) for helpers per game, breaking the number (86) she posted the previous season.

A cheat code from deep, Samuelson became the second college basketball player ever to drain 10-of-10 3-point shots during a contest in March 2017. With an emphasis on spacing the floor and putting up video game-like numbers, Chicago snagged the guard in the first round of the 2019 WNBA draft.

Signed as a free agent with Chicago, April 21, 2006, after sitting out the 2005 season. Covered the 2006 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament for ESPN. Selected third overall by Washington in the 2002 WNBA Draft.
