Who is it?


Juan was traded from the Reds to the Marlins on July 12, '02, then proceeded to set career highs in homers and RBI while tying his career best in hits. On September 24 at Montreal, he went 4-for-5 with two homers, 5 RBI and three runs scored. Juan hit three homers in the Southern League (AA) All-Star Game in '97, earning the game's MVP Award.

In 2024, Jake became the fifth Marlins first baseman (and first since 2017) to smash at least 25 homers in a season. He caught fire in mid-summer, launching a combined 18 longballs in July and August.
