Brewers Card of the Day

Tyler Black
Tyler was promoted early in 2024 after a red-hot stretch in Triple-A. He was MLB Pipeline's No. 42 overall prospect. Tyler's father, Canadian sportscaster Rod Black, called play-by-play for his son's second big-league hit. "And there's a base hit to right field from my boy. Tyler Black," dad said.

Name that player!

Junior reinvented himself as a hard-throwing reliever in 2019, allowing a paltry .194 batting average to opposing hitters. That's the third-lowest average in Club history, at a minimum of 80 innings pitched.

Christian registered his first 30-double season in five years (and the sixth of his career) in 2023 while seeing a spike in hard-hit rate. He credited a new toe-tap for helping him stay on time with pitches.

Ellie has done an excellent job of handling pitchers for Brewers and has helped club defensively. He was club's representative on the 1972 AL All-Star team.
