The NFC's 5th leading receiver in 1972, John was one of only two conference receivers to top 1000 yard mark. His 22-yard average was high for NFL leaders.



It was announced on January 3, 1974 that Chuck was named by Associated Press as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year for the 1973 season.



Fran trails John Unitas, Y. A. Tittle, John Brodie & Sonny Jurgensen among lifetime NFL passing leaders, but his rate of advance surpasses all passers in history.

We're not sure what's more impressive, that Jefferson sets higher and higher bars for himself each year, or that he keeps clearing them. The First Team All-Pro had a ridiculous 1,806 receiving yards in 2022. Along the way, he broke the Vikings' single-season record of 1,632 set by Hall of Famer Randy Moss.
