Strong on defense despite his slight stature, Chuck frequently passes up the open shot from medium range to get the ball into the big men up front for the high-percentage shot. Chuck emerged as the man who quarterbacks the Conquistadors' running offense, he has the speed and passing techniques to get that phase of the attack away and winging.

Caldwell Jones

Caldwell's idol is Wilt Chamberlain. "Man, he's my hero." says Caldwell. "He was when I was a kid now, playing with him... it's too much." Wilt has taken Caldwell under his wing and labors daily to bring out the natural talents of the near-7-foot Caldwell. One of the ABA'S most outstanding rookies of 1973-74 Caldwell had an outstanding 15.0 scoring average in 79 games and had 144. assists for the Q's.

Caldwell's nickname is "Albany".
