Ron Boone
Ron has played 246 consecutive games, been credited with 807 as sists and had a 24-point quarter for the Dallas Chaparrals against the Houston Mavericks, 4-3-69. In 1968-69 he jumped right into the starting lineup of the Chaparrals and was chosen to the ABA's All-Rookie team. The following year he showed his ability to come off the bench & move to forward.

Merv made University of Utah starting lineup as a sophomore. He was an important cog on fine Redskin team which made NCAA finals. Merv led Western Athletic Conference in scoring as a junior and as a senior.

Zelmo made his ABA debut in 1970-71 and was named to The Sporting News ABA All-Star second team for his efforts in helping the Stars win the ABA title. His best NBA season was 1968-69 when he averaged 21.5 points & 11.1 rebounds.

Gerald Govan
When the Stars found themselves in an early season slump in 1972-73 they inserted Gerald into a starting forward position. In 20 Games after that move he doubled his Point Total, raised his Shooting Percentage to the best of his ABA career and he averaged 12.8 Rebounds Per Game.
Gerald's nickname is "Go-Go".
