Subscribing to an off-season program of weights and aerobics (in which he was joined by Wayne Gretzky), Shag added 25 pound of brawn to his already legendary strength. That's daunting news for opposing centers who watched him throw down a league leading 333 dunks last year.

As far as debut seasons go, Banchero's could not have gone much better in Orlando. The dominant forward wasted no time in 2022-23 showing everyone in the NBA why the Magic selected him with the first overall pick. He adjusted effortlessly, earning Rookie of the Year and All-Rookie honors.
