Drafted 17th overall in 1998 after two seasons in Italy, he saw action in only two games that year. The former member of the Slovenian National Team played all 82 games last year, however. Nesterovic even shot his way into the Timberwolves' record books
twice. In one game against Golden State, he tied a club mark with a 7-for-7 performance in a single quarter, and against Phoenix, he matched another record by shooting 11-for-12 in the game.
