Acquired from the Lakers, John was a vital factor in several playoff victories for Los Angeles in 1969-70. He came off the bench to spark a come-from-behind win over Phoenix and came up with three steals in the final min- utes of a triumph over Knicks. He had a scoring average of 11.0 in playoffs.

Rick has an excellent touch for a big man, he can hit the oustide shot with consistency. He had a game-high of 28 Points for the Bullets in 1980-81 and contributed 25 Assists, 21 Steals and 44 Blocked Shots in 696 Minutes of action. Rick was 3-time NAIA All-American.
