The heart of the Bullets, Wes literally turned the team around in his rookie year, lifting the Bullets from last place to first by providing the ignition to the fastbreak. A master of the outlet pass, he won MVP and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season, 1968-69.

Wes is on the board of directors of a hospital.

The Muresan legend grew last season as the NBA's tallest-ever player took his game to new heights, as well. "He doesn't surprise me anymore," hailed Knick Coach Pat Riley of the NBA's No. 6 FG% shooter (.560). "He's one of the most improved players. He's so big, so tough."

A flashy one-on-one master, Earl "the Pearl" Monroe dazzled NBA fans during his 13-year career. He was NBA Rookie of the Year in 1968 and was selected to the All-NBA First Team in 1969. He also won an NBA Championship in 1973 with the New York Knicks.
