Welcome to the Suns Exhibition Hall
All-Star guard Kevin Johnson of the Phoenix Suns has proven himself a superstar on the basketball court, but as "NBA Inside Stuff" found out, he's in a league all by himself when it comes to helping the youth of his hometown, Sacramento, CA. "The thing I remember most about growing up in this neighborhood is that everybody wanted to do something positive, but it was difficult for a lot of people to get a fair shot," Johnson told "NBA Inside Stuff" (airing each Saturday during the NBA season on NBC, check local listings). That is why he created, funded and actively oversees the St. HOPE (Helping Our People Excel) Academy in Sacramento for young people between the ages of 8-17, an after-school support program which offers help with homework, personal problems and other needs. "St. HOPE is designed to give kids an opportunity for growth and general living in many different areas," Johnson said. "You don't have to do a lot, just be the best you can be - a good role model, a good example for others.

Name that player!
Heating up faster than a summer day in the desert, Booker scored 24 points in the first quarter of a win vs. New Orleans on April 1, 2024. He became the second player (Stephen Curry) to net at least that many points in an opening frame four times in a career. He finished with 52, his league-high third 50-spot of the season.
