Avalanche Coffee Talk Name that player!
Winner of the 1998 Norris Trophy as the NHL's top defenseman, Rob won his first Stanley Cup in 2000-01, with the Avalanche. He is one of the game's best power-play quarterbacks.

Back to the Front! Avalanche card back du jour...
David Aebischer
For three years, Dave has backed up "The Legend" in Colorado, although playing No. 2 to Patrick Roy does have its advantages. Roy has helped Aebischer work on his play outside the crease. He was also a big reason why the Avalanche won the 2001 Stanley Cup, which Dave took to Switzerland after the season. "It was fun," he remembers, "It was the first time the Cup was there. In my city, 60 percent knew that it was the Stanley Cup."
