Originally drafted by Winnipeg in '91, Filimonov's rights were traded to Ottawa last March. He has played the last three seasons with Moscow Dynamo of the Soviet/CIS National League.

The penalty-killing Schaefer notched his 100th NHL assist on 1/21/06 against Toronto. During the 2005-06 season, Schaefer recorded new career highs in goals, assists and points. He was the 66th overall pick in the '95 NHL Entry Draft.

Grant was signed as a free agent by Ottawa in the 1999-2000 season, Grant's first goal with Ottawa was his first of the season, and it came with 1:01 remaining to give the Senators a 3-2 win over the Rangers.
