Patrick played in 38 games during the 1999-2000 season. In his first NHL start in more than two years, Patrick had 17 saves in a 3-0 shutout of Philadelphia on Oct. 2. He had a 2.33 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.

The former Calder winner set a Senators record with a 22-game point streak last season. Heatley became the first Ottawa skater to score 50 goals in a season in 2005-06. He was the second overall pick of the 2000 draft.

After lighting the lamp to tie the game and send it into overtime against the hosting Washington Capitals on Dec. 29, 2022, DeBrincat sent the Sentators home with a win with his second goal of the night in a 4-3 victory.
