A big, physical winger who has spent hundreds of minutes in the sin bin, Georges is a gentle sort at heart. His first sport of choice was soccer, and in youth hockey he focused on skating, passing and scoring. "I wasn't really a tough guy back in those days," he says. Laraque says he never even fought with his kid brother, Jules, who remains his best pal.
