Born in Capreol, Ont., Dec. 13, 1933. 6', 185. Shoots left. Doug constantly shuffled from forward to defense, but has speed plus shot to star anywhere. Willing to play wherever needed, he'll probably be switched to center.

Rask was outstanding in backstopping Finland to bronze medals at the 2006 World Junior Championships in British Columbia. He had a 2.11 GAA and .940 save percentage and was named the netminder on the tournament all-star team.

Last year was Wayne's first full season in the NHL. He spent four years in the Bruins' Minor Leagues before coming to Boston. Wayne scored only nine goals last season, but five of them came in the playoffs. He's a smooth playmaker.

Don Awrey

Good mobility for his size (6-0, 189), plus a penchant for the rough going have made Don Awrey a most valuable addition to the Boston defensive corps. He's always had lots of potential but like many defensemen didn't mature until after a couple of pro seasons.

Don can also be used at left wing, if necessary.
