One of the mose dangerous shooters on the Sabres, Jim led all Buffalo marksmen with 12 power play goals last season. Only four players in the entire Leauge were more effective than Jim on the power play. A former rookie of the year and most valuable player in the Central League, Jim has played with three other NHL teams. He has one of the league's hardest shots.

Dave Snuggerud
A superb defensive player, Dave has not missed a game for the Sabres since joining them in '89-90. He's a strong skater with excellent forechecking skills. Dave led Buffalo with four shorthanded goals in '90-91 as he helped anchor one of the league's best penalty-killing units. Dave's work ethic has made him very popular with both fans and teammates. He was the Sabres' Rookie of the Year in '89-90 after picking up 14 goals and 16 assists. Dave played two seasons at the University of Minnesota before joining the U.S. Olympic Team in 1988. He returned to the Golden Gophers in '88-89 and was named a Second Team All-American after recording 49 points (29 goals, 20 assists) in 45 games.
