Charlie Taylor
The first Redskin to be named as the NFL's Rookie of the Year when he won the honor in 1964, Charlie had 53 pass receptions that year from a running back position to set a new NFL record. He was the first rookie in the NFL to rank in the top ten in both rushing and receiving since 1943 and his total of 15 touchdowns (3 rushing and 12 receiving) in 1966 set a new Redskin touchdown mark for a season. Charlie ranked in the top ten pass receivers in the NFL his first six years at Washington. He won the pass receiving title in 1966 and repeated in 1967. He was MVP of the 1964 Chicago All-Star game and was voted All-Western Athletic Conference in 1963.
