Heritage Flashback: The Agholor family, natives of Lagos, Nigeria, settled in Tampa when Nelson was a kid. Agholor garnered All-America honors as a running back/receiver at Berkeley Prep before twice making the All-Pac-12 Team at USC.

Maurice Nipp
"Nipper" led the offense for Loyola College of California during his last two years so effectively that he was named the most valuable lineman. He also won the trophy for the best blocking average. All in all he played four years' varsity football, the last year as captain of the Loyola team. He was chosen for the All-Coast and All-Opponents team in 1951. He joins the Eagles with a reputation of speed and durability, and it is expected he will make a good showing for himself. At the end of current season, Nipp intends to return to Loyola to finish his course in Business Administration.
