Winfred Tubbs

Winfred, a former fullback who switched to linebacker after his freshman seu son at Texas, developed rapidly in his first NFL season. New Orleans picked him in the third round of the 1994 draft, and by the end of the season he was the team's right inside linebacker. Tubbs appeared in 13 games (seven starts) us f rookie, finishing with 54 tackles. He earned All-Southwest Conference honors in 1993 despite playing most of the season with a cast on his hand.

Who is it?

Drafted from the Minnesota Vikings organization in 1967, Mike worked hard and fought his way into the Saints' starting defensive unit last season. He stands 6'6" and is extremely effective at rushing the quarterback. His continued fine play has vastly improved the New Orleans' front four.
