Though more receivers are getting off to fast starts in today's game, it's hard to imagine a rookie having a bigger impact than Moss in 1998. Putting his freakish ball skills and electric speed on display, the Vikings wideout hauled in a league-best 17 touchdowns and amassed 1,313 yards to earn First Team All-Pro honors.

The Associated Press named Keith as an All-Pro and NFL Defensive Player of the Year for 1989. He was selected as Pro Bowl starter for the 2nd consecutive season and saw action in Classic at Honolulu, 2-4-90. Keith recorded 18 QB Sacks for losses totalling 108 Yards and 90 Tackles in 1989.

Back to the Front! Vikings card back du jour...

Gene Washington

An All-American at Michigan State where he broke nearly all career receiving records, Gene also starred in track, winning six Big-Ten hurdles titles. Drafted on the first round by the Vikings in 1967, he emerged in 1968 as one of the top deep receivers in the NFL. He has excellent speed, good hands and has responded very well to the challenge of being a starter.

Gene works as a counselor at MSU in the off-season.
