Here's the combination that picked up the greatest number of rushing yards for Los Angeles. Quarterback Roman Gabriel is shown handing off to Fullback Dick Bass. Dick rushed for 549 yards and 2 TDs, averaging 4.5 yards per rush in '65.

Norman, who was NFL passing champion in 1950, was nosed out for that honor in 1951 by his teammate, Bob Waterfield, in a very close race. Entered pro football in 1949 from Oregon where he starred in passing and punting.

Kupp had to start from scratch in 2021 and form a bond with a new starting quarterback (Matthew Stafford) in Los Angeles. The Rams weren't necessarily stressing about it. Kupp can catch throws from anyone, anywhere, anytime. He'll catch on quickly and resume his starring role as a top target.
